Notice of Haedong Science Culture Foundation Scholarship Selection Deadline 10/26, Engineering Majors, 12 million KRW per year for living expenses

Dong Science Culture Foundation Scholarship Selection Notice

1. Scholarship: Annual living expenses of 12 million won

  • Paid in monthly installments of 1 million won

  • Support will continue until graduation if the foundation's required academic performance (e.g., taking at least 12 credits in the previous semester) and self-development achievements are met

2. Number of school recommendations: No limit

3. Eligibility

  • As of the 2027 fall semester, current students in their 2nd year, 1st semester, 2nd year, 2nd semester, and 3rd year, 1st semester (those who can continuously attend school for more than 2 semesters)

  • Eligible majors: Department of Electronic Engineering, Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of System Semiconductor Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Department of Semiconductor Engineering

  • Within the 4th quartile of the Korea Student Aid Foundation's scholarship support range

  • Cannot receive other external foundation scholarships that encourage academic achievement (national scholarships and in-school scholarships are allowed)

4. Application deadline: October 26, 2026 (Mon)

5. Application Method: Combine all documents into a single PDF file and submit it to the Student Support Team via email

  • Consent Form for Personal Information Collection and Provision (attached)

7. Selection Method:

  • 1st Round Document Review: November 12, 2026 (Thu), individual notification for those who pass

  • 2nd Round Interview: November 17, 2026 (Tue) ~ November 18, 2026 (Wed)

  • Scholarship Certificate Award Ceremony: February 25, 2027 (Thu) *Failure to attend the award ceremony will result in cancellation of selection
